The open‑channel UV wastewater disinfection system is mainly applied to disinfection in municipal sewage treatment plants, residential wastewater treatment, water reuse for reclaimed water, industrial wastewater disinfection and other scenarios. Based on operating conditions and structural features, it falls into horizontal‑flow open‑channel type and vertical‑flow open‑channel type. Three water‑level control modes are available: overflow weir outlet, unpowered flap gate water‑level control and electric weir gate control.
The complete UV disinfection system consists of UV disinfection modules, automatic control center, power distribution center, automatic cleaning system, water‑level control system and auxiliary equipment.、

The human‑machine interface enables full‑parameter monitoring and control: device on/off, fault diagnosis, cumulative lamp runtime, lamp operating status and parameter setting. Operators can supervise system performance to achieve targeted germicidal UV dosage for disinfection processes.
