Zhengguang® ZGC107 is a cation exchange resin bearing sulfonic acid groups (\(SO_{3}H\)) on a styrene‑divinylbenzene copolymer matrix with 7% cross‑linkage. It is mainly applied for hard‑water softening and pure‑water preparation. It is also used in hydrometallurgy, sugar manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, monosodium glutamate manufacturing, and serves as catalyst and dehydrating agent.
The ZGC107 resin series consists of three grades: ZGC107 is the general‑purpose grade; ZGC107FC is suitable for dual‑bed, dual‑chamber bed and floating‑bed systems; ZGC107 MB is suitable for moving‑bed and mixed‑bed systems.
